FROM A LEGISLATIVE PROSPECTIVE (chronologically)

1- Equality for man and woman in front of marital expenses and not mostly for man as before. (article 214 from Civil Code).
2- Penal sanctions for mothers moving with children without letting know to the father their new address (article 356-1 from Penal Code).
3- Taking in consideration sentimental feelings that a child is expressing, becomes mandatory during a child hearing done by a judge. (article 290-3° from Civil Code).
4- Allocation for "isolated parent" becomes the substitution for "isolated mother".
5- "Educational parental vacancy" becomes the substitution words for "maternity vacancy".
6- Possibility is now offered for male teachers to teach in maternal classes.
7- Alimentary assistance provided to adult children can now be decreased from taxes.
8- Train with reduce card, "Carte vermeil", is now available at the same age for men and women. (60 years old).
9- Military duties becomes equal for men and women.

LAW OF JULY, 22th 1987

10- Common exertion of parental authority on children from divorce (decided by the judge for Family Matters), and on children outside of marital context (with common declaration to the judge for Family Matters).
11- Possibility for the judge of Family Matters to decide for children outside of marriage, not any more for the "Tribunal de Grande Instance".
12- Mandatory hearing of children coming from divorce starting at the age of 13 and stays optional before this age. (not more object child).
13- The word "GUARD" has been removed from law texts.

LAW OF JANUARY 8th 1993

14- Common authority rights on children coming from divorce and, under 2 conditions, for children out of the marriage.
15- Any child able of self discernment, without any age restriction, has the right to ask for judge hearing, and can be supported by someone of his own choice, including a lawyer paid by jurisdictional help.

FROM AN INDIVIDUAL PROSPECTIVE

1- A better conscious of one part of the public opinion and certain magistrate regarding men issues.
2- A better solidarity within the Movement (Execution of justice decisions relative to usual home change for children, visitation rights, etc. ...), with the concourse of Movement antennas.
3- The usual home for children assigned to the father, in case of potential better quality than the mother in educating, or if a strong desire is coming from the children to leave with their father.
4- Arbitration teams to solution parent conflicts.
